Bee Friendly to our Bees
The Importance of Bees
The greatest contribution of bees is the pollination of nearly three quarters of the plants that produce 90% of the world’s food. Up to 30% of the world’s food production depends on bees. So, if you see those little ones buzzing about near your home you must have some very juicy flowers or plants that they’re gravitating towards.
Bees are vital for the preservation of ecological balance and biodiversity in nature. They provide one of the most recognisable ecosystem services, meaning their pollination technique is what makes food production possible.
They’re also protectors…. they protect and maintain ecosystems as well as animal and plant species.
Bees can also guide us on the state of the environment. Their presence, absence or quantity tells us when something is happening with the environment and that appropriate action is needed.
As long as you’re not allergic there are plenty of ways we can take care of our planet’s natural pollinators so give the team at KR Pest Control a call to manage all of your bee concerns. We treat them like the Queen.
How can we help?
